“Soccer is unique in that there is a real pathway for both boys and girls to start at young age and ultimately play at high levels. We have already seen this happening in parts of the U.S., including Louisville, Cincinnati and Indianapolis. There is every reason to believe it will happen here in Lexington, as well. Lexington Sporting Club already has the organization and infrastructure in place to make them a success, as well as dedicated ownership and robust community and civic support. Now we just need the few final pieces: the training grounds and stadium.”
